Default values for new tasks
I would be nice be able to define default values for selected fields, to be used when creating new tasks. For example default folder.

Sync button in all menus
I propose a (manual) sync button in all menus, not only in one. So I have not to click several times to execute a manual sync after a change in my tasks.

Add dependencies between tasks
This feature would put two list items in dependency to each other: Item B can only be done after Item A is done. Until Item A is done, Item B would not show up in the to-do list, since DGT GTD knows that it B cannot be done because A is not done.

Change visibility/order of fields in task details view
It would make the app extremely customizable if there was a settings screen where you can toggle visibility (and/or change order) of all the fields in the task details view.
The easiest way to configure this would probably be a list with all the fields and a checkmark next to them that toggles whether they are visible or not. I guess this is pretty straightforward and could be implemented in the first step.
As a second step the field order could be rearranged but that's more complicated...86 votesAdmindgtale (Admin, DGT GTD) responded
this feature will be definitely available in the beta version. However, I do not comment on timeframes for implementation.

Allowing several sorting criteria for Tasks
Sorting order of tasks should be configurable per Page (Home,..)
Sorting orders (desc, inc) should be:
Priority, Context, due Date, Creation Date, flagged,E.g. Sorting order by Context, then by Priority or
Sorting order priority and then due date86 votes -

Update 02/2012:
No further news from Nirvana API since June 5, 2009

I’m going to contact the NirvanaHQ guys. As far as I know they don’t have yet released their Developer API. -
Show sub-tasks indented
Although clicking on a parent task to see its sub-tasks is quite useful, I would like the option to see the sub-tasks in the main list, just indented a little, like Toodledo does. It makes it quicker to see the tasks I'm after.

create saved search with filters & sort by 3 parameters.
Saved search can be created with applying filters & sort parameters(at least three).
Each saved search can have diff filters & sort parameters.63 votesAdmindgtale (Admin, DGT GTD) responded

API for syncing
There are quite a lot of sync requests here - perhaps write a basic API that others can follow to write extensions to sync with their app of choice or their own creation. That way we can use your excellent UI and design as a front end for any service we can write a sync tool for, until you have time to create something more official for the job.

Will you please consider also an alternative solution using MS Outolook and Toodledo:

share lists or tasks or delegation with others
It would be awesome to be able to share a list w another user maybe through an email login and sync. Also, share a project, task, or delegate an item to someone else and it show up in their dgt gtd and when completed, be checked off both peoples lists. I hope what I am saying makes sense. Great app by the way!

DGT GTD doesn’t implement collaborative features. I’d suggest to install Trello: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trello&feature=search_result
In Trello’s boards you can add members then you can share the board with DGT GTD.

That would be great to have ability sync with Tracks
First of all! thanks for Your work!
After using You program about one week i came up with some ideas, ill share them here one by one, hope You
ll find them useful.Synchronization with Tracks:
http://getontracks.org/
is open source project dedicated to GTD.
Tracks might work on personal server using rubby, but there are some free of charge available services like gtdify.com using tracks too.Tracks has similar to toodledo.com synchronization scheme.
Could be great option to have synchronization wit it.

Instant toodledo update
Synchronize changes (e.g. new tasks, completed tasks, modifications) to toodledo instantaneously.
This should also improve multiple devices' synchronization

Add a Location field with reminder when user arrives there.
As Ultimate To-Do List does.
Very useful. When you arrive somewhere, app reminds you about tasks for this context.
It would be really nice, if DTD GTD had an ability to switch context basing on the current location of the user.
So user just defines @work as a location with particular coordinates and gets auto switching when he arrives at home/work/etc.41 votes
