Create quick task from email
I used to use a Blackberry application that would allow me to add an email as a task directly from within the email client. It was very convenient. Quite often I would want to follow up on an email. From within the email, if I could select 'add to DGT' or similar and then the subject and/or optionally the sender name would pre-populate the task name (and maybe the body copied to the notes field), that would be very cool.

I suggest to install the following alternative email cient. “K-9 Mail”. It allows you to use the “Share” functionality and, therefore, add a task in DGT GTD. Let me know if that helps you.

K-9 can't use exchange mail accounts, so it's not a suggestion for me. Please a pull-function to fetch all Mails in the inbox of a mail-account

It would also be nice to be able to e-mail yourself a task where the email could be written in such a way that would share not only the task and text, but somehow convey the attributes, as, well--context, due date, priority, etc.--like can be done with Toodledo, but faster since it wouldn't be a workaround. Wonderful app--Thanks!!

Please read my status update: "...K-9 Mail allows you to use the “Share” option..."
Unfortunately the standard email app is not offering that feature.

This would be really awesome, if it came from the standard android email client, which would enable me to then save time in text entry.

It works great with K-9 mail in 0.60 on Desire Z.

I use Toodledo only rarely because it is on my PC. I always have my Android with me. I check most of my email from my phone. If I only used Toodledo, I wouldn't need or want DGT. If it's not in the plan, I understand. You can't put everything in one app. I just thought it would be nice if it was feasible. Thanks for considering it.

I think that Toodledo has that feature. If you create the task through an email to Toodledo and then sync, the task will show up in DGT.
